As widespread technology availability and global financial markets erode the competitive advantage of technology and size, the role of human assets in distinguishing firms become increasingly important. Despite availability of well educated workforce, effective utilization of human resources remain a significant challenge in Iranian private sector. Therefore companies who can excel in this dimension will have a strong competitive advantage both in the internal and in the global market.

This week-long workshop draws on expertise and experiences of management scholars and practitioners around the world to train a select group of Iranian managers on the newest techniques and practices of developing an effective workforce. Participants will learn the theoretical foundations of successful human resource management and will learn to apply these to Iranian settings through hands on case-studies.
