Abstract:

Organizations have to go through many changes to adjust to the rapid global market and technology development. This highlights the importance of Transformational Leadership in the context of managing continuous change, innovation and adoption. Transformational leadership is more developmental and constructive for both individuals and the organization. Such leaders act as role models encouraging employees to be innovative and thus achieve a collective vision. Transformational leaders are taking advantage of action learning strategies are better suited to handle knowledge management and even the most technical aspects of the modern workplace than are transactional or laissez-faire leaders. This presentation covers following topics: a) Leadership solutions to enhance group, team and individual performance, b) Dynamics of leadership in organizations, c) Contingency strategies for change management, and, d) Transformational leadership with moral foundations.
