Abstract:
What are the factors and variables influencing the economic, social and political development? Which socio-economic variables are influencing the process and in what ways? This is an empirical study using 45 years of data in a panel data model to gain basic understanding of those variables. In current stage, dependent variable is political development of selected countries and independent variables are a list of socio-economic variables. The author is planning to expand this research further in coming years by examining more variables and utilizing other econometrics models including 3SLS (three stage least squares) system.
