Introduction
The International Association of Iranian Managers is holding its first 6-Day Executive Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Management in Iran in June 2007.
Through the workshop, participants gain the knowledge and skills needed to recognize, develop and communicate potential commercial opportunities arising in their respective sectors of activity. In addition, participants will expand the social networks linking them to others in the entrepreneurial communities in Iran.
The workshop is designed for managers who want to position themselves proactively to make use of emerging opportunities in new markets or realize innovative approaches in existing markets.
Using the experience and expertise of faculty members at top Universities and successful entrepreneurs in top enterprises in North America, Europe and Iran the workshop will bring world-class talent to entrepreneurship education in Iran. All educational sessions will be held in Persian (Farsi)

Topics Covered :The workshop is conducted as a combination of academic lectures by world-class faculty, practical guest lectures by successful International Entrepreneurs and hands-on work on entrepreneurship ideas. The following topics will be covered during the workshop:
- Discovery
The stage in the entrepreneurial process in which the entrepreneur generates ideas, recognizes opportunities, and determines the feasibility of ideas, markets, ventures, etc.
- Concept Development
The stage in the entrepreneurial process in which the entrepreneur plans the venture, identifies needed resources using a business plan, identifies strategies .to protect intellectual property, etc.
- Resourcing
The stage in the entrepreneurial process in which the entrepreneur identifies and acquires the financial, human, and capital resources needed for the venture startup, etc.
- Actualization
The stage in the entrepreneurial process in which the entrepreneur operates the venture and utilizes resources to achieve its goals/objectives.
- Harvesting
The stage in the entrepreneurial process in which the entrepreneur decides on the venture's future (growth, development, demise).
Participants will engage in individual and group hands-on project and will be closely mentored by the workshop faculty at every stage. Participants are expected to do a final group presentation on an idea taken from scratch to full business case design.
Workshop Fee
The workshop fee is 9,500,000 Rls for the six-day period and covers all lectures, educational materials, CDs, meals and the cost of the workshop certificate. Competitive scholarships are available for this workshop. Scholarship winners will only pay 6,500,000 Rls or 3,500,000 Rls to attend the workshop.
Workshop Certificate
Participants who successfully presnt their final entrepreneurship project wil receive a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the International Association of Iranian Managers.
